Adiabatic Compressed Air Energy Storage (A-CAES) Demonstrator Plant

Energy Coast West Cumbria is buying the complete design, manufacture and supply of a modular adiabatic compressed air energy storage demonstrator plant for testing at Westlakes Science Park. The system must deliver 0.333 MW charging, 1.0 MW discharge, and achieve at least 80% electrical round-trip efficiency.
