Contracts
Grounds, forestry & agriculture
Public sector contract notices in grounds, forestry & agriculture, from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.
Grounds maintenance, landscaping, tree and woodland work, and agricultural and horticultural supply: CPV divisions 77, 03 and 16. Grass cutting, planting and soft landscaping, arboriculture, weed control, sports pitch maintenance, forestry, and the machinery and produce that go with them.
Councils, housing associations, parks trusts and schools are the usual buyers, and the work is close to home by nature, so a firm that only works in one county is not at a disadvantage here in the way it is nationally. Contracts are often let per site, per estate or per area, and seasonal work is regularly bought through a framework so the buyer can call it off each year. Where a contract covers a whole borough it will normally state the schedule and frequency, which is what to check against your own capacity before anything else.
